Select Your Region

This version applies to individuals outside the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

At 20Vision GmbH, we believe that your prompt library and context data are private. LazyPrompt is designed as an offline-first application. This Privacy Policy outlines how the LazyPrompt Browser Extension ("Extension") handles your data.

1. No Data Collection

We Do Not Collect Your Data

LazyPrompt does not transmit your personal information, saved prompts, or browsing history to 20Vision GmbH or any third-party servers.

  • No Analytics: We do not track your usage of the Extension.
  • No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or log in to use the Extension.
  • Local Storage Only: All data (prompts, folders, settings, and passwords) is stored locally on your device using the browser's chrome.storage.local API.

2. Extension Permissions

The Extension requires specific permissions to function. Here is how they are used:

  • Storage: Required to save your prompts and settings to your local device.
  • ActiveTab / Scripting: Required to inject your selected text into the webpage you are currently viewing. The Extension only reads/modifies the active tab when you explicitly trigger an action (e.g., clicking a prompt to paste it).
  • Host Permissions (<all_urls>): Required to allow the Extension to function on any website where you might want to paste text (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, internal tools).

3. Security & Passwords

LazyPrompt offers a "Lock" feature that allows you to set a password.

  • This password is stored locally on your device.
  • Warning: Because we do not have servers, we cannot reset your password if you lose it. If you forget your password, you will lose access to your stored prompts and will need to reinstall the extension.
